Is number porting free?

Yes. Inbound number porting to Softtop is included at no charge on all standard plans. There are also zero port-out fees if you ever need to move a number away from Softtop.

Can I port toll-free numbers?

Yes. Softtop handles toll-free number porting via the Responsible Organization (RespOrg) process. Your existing 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, or 844 number transfers without service interruption.

Will my service be interrupted during the port?

No. Softtop stages the porting process so your number remains active on your current carrier until the cutover moment. You choose the cutover date and time, including weekend scheduling on request.

Can I port international numbers?

Yes. International number porting is supported in many countries. Availability and timelines vary by country — contact Softtop support to confirm availability for specific international numbers before initiating.

Are there port-out fees if I leave Softtop?

No. Softtop charges zero port-out fees. You own your number and can transfer it to any carrier at any time without penalty.
